paving the way
Become a lasting part of the Columbia College landscape
Faculty, staff and students became a part of history as the college turned on the water jets for the first time at the launch of the Quad’s Alumni Fountain on Monday, August 29.
“The Quad will transform our outdoor spaces in exciting ways that will benefit everyone.
It will create a positive energy on our campus and will be a place to study, to play, to eat
and to make lifelong memories.” - Dr. Scott Dalrymple, Columbia College president
The Quad includes a central walkway through campus that takes you from Southwell Complex to Dulany Hall with a number of exciting features along the way: Alumni Fountain, Christian College Garden, an outdoor dining pavilion, Whitcraft-Schiffman Memorial Ampitheater and the Hulett Family Campus Safety Office to bring those services closer to our students.

More than 125 members of the campus community and distinguished guests from the Columbia community gathered outside St. Clair Hall in March 2016 to celebrate the groundbreaking of the college’s new campus Quad. The event marked the official kickoff of the project that will become the heart of the college’s campus.
